Milani Beach Front and Pretty & Polished Party on My Yacht

I've got a really fun combination to show you today! I brought out Milani Beach Front again and paired it up with Pretty & Polished Party on My Yacht. Click here to see my original post on Milani Beach Front!
Today has been rainy and overcast, so I apologize in advance for the poor lighting in these photos. I painted my nails with Milani Beach Front and used Pretty & Polish Party on My Yacht on my ring finger as an accent. I love this combo! I forgot how beautiful Beach Front is! It is so fun and Spring-like! Party on My Yacht is a cute white polish with small multi-colored glitter, and it really looks like birthday cake icing!
In the photos below I used two coats of Beach Front, and three coats of Party on My Yacht.

What do you think of this combo? You can buy Milani at CVS and Pretty & Polished on Etsy!

T-Shirt of the Day: The Terminator

The Terminator and Terminator 2: Judgement Day are two of my favorite movies of all time. I love a good time travel story. So add time travel, 1980's and early 90's special effects, timeless one-liners by Arnold, and you've got one happy girl.

Even when I was younger, my brothers had this really cool Terminator action figure that was probably a foot tall, and it was The Terminator in his leather outfit, and parts of his skin were missing and you could see the cyborg underneath. I would play with it along with my Barbies.

Which brings me to my T-Shirt of the Day. It's the movie cover and poster for the first movie in the franchise, The Terminator, with one of Arnold's most famous quotes, "I'll be back."

This shirt makes me laugh every time I wear it. :)

Pretty & Polished Jawbreaker

I remember going to the candy store when I was younger, and once or twice I got one of those huge jawbreakers, and I remember it took a very long time to finish those things! It seemed like no matter how much you licked it or tried to bite a piece off, there was always a lot left to eat! Looking back on that now, it probably wasn't good for my teeth to bite candy that hard, or eat all that sugar.
However, Pretty & Polished has a polish named Jawbreaker that allows you to enjoy all of the pretty colors of the candy!
Jawbreaker is a beautiful cream colored polish with various shapes of red, blue, and yellow glitter floating in the polish. I just love how colorful this polish is!
I didn't have any problems with application, except that it was difficult to get any of the red square glitter on the nail. I think the red glitter sticks to the sides and the bottom of the bottle.
This polish is perfect for Spring!

What do you think about Jawbreaker? Do you own any of Pretty & Polished nail polish? You can purchase Pretty & Polished on Etsy.com. Thanks for reading!

Heavenly Harvest Pork Roast

I've been wanting to bring out my slow cooker again for a while now, and I decided to try this pork roast recipe that I found in my slow cooker cook book!

My husband brought this slow cooker cook book to me after a trip to the store, because he knows I love slow cooker recipes. Isn't he sweet? Or maybe he's trying to give me a hint to cook more often....

Here is the 4.74 lb. pork roast that we bought at the store. It was a Tyson roast.

Per the recipe, I put the sugar and pomegranate juice in a saucepan and stirred it together until the sugar dissolved, and then poured it over the roast in the slow cooker. My husband 'massaged' the seasoning into the roast, and I cut the two pears up and placed them on the roast, and instead of an orange, I cut up two mandarins and placed them on the roast because I already had them and needed to use them up.

Here is the yumminess 9 hours later. I woke up for work Friday morning and could smell this roast all the way upstairs, and it smelled delicious!!

And I ate it for lunch....

     And dinner!

One of the many reasons I love cooking with a slow cooker is because the meat is just so tender! This pork roast was delicious, and it was very easy to cut out portions. I could definitely taste the sweetness from the pomegranate juice and sugar, and getting some of the juice from the bottom of the slow cooker to eat along with the meat enhanced the flavor. I would probably add some more of the mixture of seasonings for the next time I make this roast, because I felt like the flavors from the steak seasoning and garlic powder was a little lost inside the sweetness of the fruit.
Do you like cooking with a slow cooker? What are some of your favorite recipes? Thanks for reading!
