Icing Evergreen

I have found another polish that has been added to my list of favorite greens! I bought Icing Evergreen a while back at an Icing store because it was so gorgeous in the bottle. It is just as gorgeous on the nail!
Evergreen is a dark green jelly polish loaded with green and gold glitter. It is simply stunning, and shown below are three coats plus top coat.

Sinful Colors Leap Flog

I've got another Sinful Colors polish for you today! Sinful Colors Leap Flog came from a display that looked like a Fall collection. Leap Flog is a dark, murky, army green/grey in the sun, but in the shade it looks very different. Do you remember when you were a kid and after you would use paint brushes to paint, you  would let them soak in water for a while? Well, that's what this color looks like in the shade - That dirty paint water that's left over. :)
However, Leap Flog is one of those dirty, ugly colors that are chic and perfect for Fall, and I don't know about you, but I'm ready for Fall!
Pictured below are two coats of Leap Flog. Leap Flog was somewhat watery, but easy enough to apply smoothly. Oh, and I don't know why it's called Leap Flog, and not Leap Frog?

In the sun:

In the shade: (So glossy!)

What do you think about Leap Flog? Thanks for reading! ☺

Orly Preamp

I don't buy a whole lot of Orly polish, but when I do, I am always amazed at the colors! Orly Preamp is from the new Electronic Collection, which I didn't even know was coming out. It seems like there isn't a lot of advertising for the new Orly collections, which is frustrating.
Anyway, Preamp is a gorgeous, dusty, bubblegum pink with gold shimmer. The gold shimmer makes this polish so unique, and I don't have another pink in my stash like it. Application was easy with two coats. I definitely recommend checking Preamp out; I bought it at Sally Beauty Supply.

China Glaze Man Hunt

Has anyone bought any of the China Glaze On Safari polishes, yet? I recently bought China Glaze Man Hunt at Sally Beauty Supply, and I'll definitely be buying more colors from this collection.
Man Hunt is a dark blue creme, and shown in the pictures below are two coats. Man Hunt is one of the prettiest and chicest blues I have seen all year. I just love how it's a creme, and it's not bright and in your face, but it's definitely blue. A creme is also a nice break from all the shimmers/holos/glitters being released lately.

Man Hunt applied effortlessly, and don't pay attention to the bubbles on my middle finger; my top coat is getting old. ☺

OPI Teenage Dream

I've got a polish to show you today that my husband got for me a few months ago, isn't he a sweetheart? ♥ OPI Teenage Dream was part of the Katy Perry Collection that released early last year. Teenage Dream is a very light pink glitter polish. Shown below are two coats of Teenage Dream over one coat of OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls, from The Amazing Spider-Man Collection. (Here lately I've been using My Boyfriend Scales Walls for a base on any glitter polish! lol)
I didn't think that Teenage Dream looked as good on my nails as it did in the bottle; in the bottle Teenage Dream is breathtaking. What is beautiful about Teenage Dream is the holographic glitter in the polish, and I blurred some of the pictures as to capture the holographic glitter's sparkle.

What do you think about Teenage Dream? I may try and swatch this polish again, and next time I'll use a darker polish underneath. Thanks for reading! ☺

OPI Number One Nemesis

Today I have OPI Number One Nemesis to show you from The Amazing Spider-Man Collection! I went to go see The Amazing Spider-Man this past weekend, and I have to say I really enjoyed it, although I wish there had been more action. I think The Avengers just spoiled me, though! I thought Andrew Garfield did a great job as Peter Parker, even though I wish he had kept his mask on more!
Number One Nemesis is my favorite polish from the Spider-Man Collection. It is a gunmetal grey with so many different colors of tiny shimmer particles that just glow in the light. The most prevalent color of shimmer seen is gold. Pictured below are two coats, and this polish didn't chip for a days. My manicure was a few days old when I took these pictures.

Sinful Colors Rise and Shine

Ok, I think I've found my favorite teal polish so far this year! Sinful Colors Rise and Shine is another one of those great bargain brands; I got this pretty for $1.99. I may have even bought this when Sinful Colors was on sale for 99 cents, I'm not sure. ☺
Rise and Shine is the perfect green-toned teal with a subtle splash of shimmer. I love the way this color looks on my nails, and I would've worn it longer had I not had chips. Pictured below are two coats. Rise and Shine dries to a semi-matte finish, so a top coat is definitely needed.

This polish reminds me of beautiful Caribbean waters, and I'm just itching to go to the beach! What do you think of Rise and Shine? Thanks for reading! ☺

China Glaze Blue Year's Eve

Today I have another clearance find from Sally Beauty Supply ~ China Glaze Blue Year's Eve. Blue Year's Eve is from the China Glaze Holiday 2011 Let It Snow Collection. I didn't have time to do a Fourth of July manicure, so I painted my nails will this gorgeous blue instead.
First, I just want to say that I bought Blue Year's Eve for $1.99. Sometimes you can find some good nail polish in the clearance bin at Sally's. Blue Year's Eve is a two-coater, but I had to use two thick coats, because it was somewhat sheer.
Blue Year's Eve is glass-fleck royal blue shimmer, but the unique aspect of this polish is that it also has duo-chrome flashes of purple. I really don't think I have another polish like this in my stash.
However, I will say that Blue Year's Eve started chipping on me the next day. I'm not sure if it's because I took a shower right after painting my nails, or if it was the top-coat I used, but I definitely didn't get the wear that I expect from China Glaze.
     Check out the photos below...

Savvy Femme Couture Chocolate

With all these neon nail polish releases here lately, I've been craving dark nails. That's why I chose to wear Savvy Femme Couture Chocolate in July. ☺
I actually got Chocolate on clearance at Sally's a while back for $1.99! Anytime you can get polish that cheap, you've got a deal!
Pictured below are two coats of Chocolate. I also have Seche Vite over Chocolate as a top coat, but my nails aren't really that shiny here, because I took this picture after being at work all day. :(
I loved Chocolate, and the bronze/copper shimmer is amazing. Check out the clearance section at your local Sally's next time you are there!
