Essie Braziliant

I am not a huge fan of Essie nail polish. I LOVE Essie Shine of the Times, but other than that, I really don't like the Essie quality or price. However, I decided to give Essie another try when I found Braziliant at TJMaxx for half of retail price.
Braziliant is a gorgeous orange polish with subtle pink the bottle. On my nails? I don't know, but I just didn't think it was as gorgeous when I wore it. Maybe it was too bright for my skin tone? It also took THREE coats to reach opacity, and it was so streaky during application! I don't know what it is, but I with all of the Essie polishes that I have tried, they have all been very streaky.
Needless to say, there was not a rekindling of my relationship with Essie like there was with Shine of the Times. I haven't disliked a polish like this in a while. What do you think of Braziliant?

Milani Orchidia

Today's post features another awesome polish by Milani! Milani continues to amaze me with their formula, and their brushes are perfect because of how they are thinner and longer than brushes from OPIOrchidia was part of Milani's Spring 2012 Collection, and it is a must-have for purple lovers.
Milani Orchidia is a medium purple loaded with silver shimmer. This polish was just absolutely gorgeous. I couldn't stop staring at my hands when I had it on. It lasted for almost five days with barely any chips. I found Orchidia at CVS for $4.99. Pictured below are two flawless coats plus top coat.
