Zoya Ivanka

Today I've got swatches of Zoya Ivanka!

Zoya Ivanka is a shimmery forest green metallic polish. This polish would be perfect for Christmas time!

I know this technically isn't a "summer" polish, but I saw it sitting out at my house and I wanted to try it!

I used three coats for the photos below:

Zoya Marley

I've got a Spring polish to show you today! Shown below are two coats of Zoya Marley. Marley is a pastel lavender with a tiny bit of silver frost. Marley isn't my favorite Zoya polish, but I thought it was pretty and Spring-like when I painted my nails two nights ago. However, I was very upset today to find out that Marley is already chipping! It is chipping a lot!
Marley is a great color for this time of year. I just wish it lasted longer on my nails. What do you think?

Zoya Reva

I've got a unique red polish to show you today! Shown below are photos of Zoya Reva, which is a medium red polish with beautiful gold shimmer. I actually loved this polish on! The gold shimmer is gorgeous in the bottle, and it's still very noticeable on the nail! Check out the pictures below. I used two coats of Zoya Reva.

What do you think of Zoya Reva? I love it!

Zoya Jo

I've got pictures of Zoya Jo for you today! Jo is the perfect dusty blue that you can wear all year-round. I wore Jo in January, but it would also be perfect for Spring. I love this color!

Jo also has the great Zoya formula. What do you think of Jo? Do you love Zoya polish?

Zoya Tallulah

Another quick post for you today! I have been wanting Zoya Tallulah for about a year now, so when they had their sale last month, I knew I was going to buy this polish!
Tallulah is one of the most beautiful blues I have ever worn. It's a shimmery, medium blue that's perfect in two coats.
     Check out the photos below...

Look at the beautiful pink shimmer at the bottom of the bottle!

Tallulah is so gorgeous! What do you think? Thanks for reading!

Zoya Harley

I've got a quick post for you tonight before I go to bed! Mondays absolutely wear me out, so I'm going to bed early tonight!
Zoya Harley is originally from the Zoya Twist Collection for Spring 2009, but I bought it last year during one of their online sales. I love Zoya, because even if I love a color from a couple of years ago, I can still find it for sale on their website.
Harley is one of the most beautiful grey colors I have ever seen! I just love the ribbons of subtle copper shimmer that you can see in the bottle. I wore this color for multiple days because I loved it so much. The color is great for Spring, but I love it even in Fall, and definitely Winter.
Check out the photos below...Two effortless coats were used.

Zoya Rekha

I've got a gorgeous red polish for you today! Zoya Rekha is from the Zoya Fall 2012 Designer Collection, and Rekha is a gorgeous, stunning, medium cherry red creme. I absolutely love it! Application was smooth with just two coats, and this red is a classic. Shown below is with top coat.

What do you think about Rekha? How do you wear your reds? Creme, Metallic, Glitter? Thanks for reading! ☺

Zoya Ray

How many of you took advantage of the BOGO sale Zoya had a couple of weeks ago? I did! I love when they have those sales because that is when I really stock up on Zoya! I just can't justify spending $8 on  each bottle when I know I can get an Ulta coupon online, or I can just wait for the sales.
Zoya Ray was one of the colors I chose when I participated in the Zoya sale. Ray is one of the colors in the Zoya Diva Fall 2012 Collection. Ray is a dark green frost, and the reason I bought it is because I have a fascination with dark green polish!
Normally I steer clear of any polish with frost in it, but in this case, the polish itself was so dark, the silver frost in the polish didn't bother me. Indoors it looks almost black, but not quite. Ray truly did look like dark green pearls.
Pictured below are two coats of Ray plus top coat.

What do you think about Zoya Ray? Thanks for reading! ☺

Zoya Crystal

Zoya Crystal was originally part of the Zoya Fire & Ice Collection from 2010. Crystal is a light blue turquoise shimmer that has gold shimmer speckled throughout. The contrast between the turquoise and gold shimmer really makes this color unique!
I want to say thanks to my hand model Mary S for letting me paint her nails with Crystal. :) I definitely needed two coats to make this color opaque, and I did use a third coat on some of the nails to get rid of some bald spots. This color is very shimmery, and very Mermaid-esque!
     Check out the pictures below!

The picture below is blurred so you can see the gold shimmer.
The picture below is with flash.

Zoya Tanzy Swatches

Tanzy is one of the colors from the Zoya Sunshine Summertime 2011 collection, and it is a mix of peach and orange with golden shimmer laced through that is perfectly gorgeous for this time of year. Unlike Kimmy, Tanzy is a lot more sheer and requires more coats for better color payoff. In the photos below, two coats were used, but I think with three coats the color would be more opaque. I have just recently found the nail polish brand Color Club, and I am really impressed with it so far! For the polkadots on the ring finger I used Color Club's 'Rebel Debutante' from the Rebel Debutante collection of 2010, which is a bright, creamy green. Let me know what you think of Tanzy! What color polkadots would go well with this color? Do you have any other nail design ideas?

Zoya's Kimmy

When I first saw the swatches from Zoya's Sunshine Collection on another blogger's site, I immediately knew I was going to get the whole collection. Needless to say, I was beside myself when I found out that Zoya was having a buy one, get one free promotion plus only $2 shipping! I couldn't wait until these nail lacquers arrived via FedEx, and when they finally did, they were just as gorgeous in person as they were online. The first one I tried was Kimmy, which is a bright cherry red with luscious gold shimmer infused throughout. This polish was completely opaque in two coats, and the color literally sparkles from the inside because of the gold shimmer. Zoya is supposed to be one of the longest lasting nail lacquers on the market, and it really did last for five days with only minor tip wear. Kimmy is an absolutely stunning shade that would be perfect for either Summer or Christmas because of the red mixed with gold sparkle. It is definitely a must-have in my opinion!
Where to Buy and How Much? Zoya nail lacquers are found on Zoya.com and are $8 each.

Zoya Summertime Collection Summer 2011

I am rapidly becoming a fan of Zoya nail lacquer. :) This year, Zoya has come out with three different summer collections, and the first one is aptly called 'Summertime'. When my package from Zoya came in the mail the other day, some sample swatches came in the box, which is actually a great idea so that their customers can see the colors.
The new 'Summertime' swatches are below.
Left to Right:
Sooki is a bright tomato red cream
Tamsen is a darker, brick red cream
Kieko is a deep grape purple cream
Areej is a a fuscia purple cream
Mira is a royal blurple cream
Breezi is a bright sky blue cream

I just love the way Zoya names their polishes. It is so creative and unique! What do you think about this collection? Is it a pass for you, or do you see some that peak your interest?

Zoya Dannii

I have never tried a Zoya nail polish until now. 'Dannii' is one of the colors from Zoya's new Intimate Collection. It is a blue-based purple with silver and pink shimmer. When I picked this up at Ulta, I loved the color in the bottle, and could not wait to try it when I got home. It's another perfect purple for Spring. The color is very pretty, and the shimmer is beautiful...I just don't get the WOW factor from it; am I missing something? I don't feel it's very unique out of the bottle, but I'm also not a big purple girl.
The formula ran very thick and gloppy the first time I applied this polish, and on two of my fingers I had to take off all the polish and re-apply. After that, the polish seemed to wear fine.
Zoya nail lacquers are $6-8 at Ulta and Zoya.com, and Zoya.com normally has some amazing deals when you sign up for an account on their website.
Is this a purple you would wear? What are some of your favorite purple nail lacquers?
