This Week Through Instagram

There is a craft blog I follow that has a post every now and then of Instagram pictures throughout her week, and I thought the idea was so cool that I decided to do an Instagram post on here every now and then. I can't remember that particular blog I follow at this time, but when I remember I will update and let you know! So here is my week through Instagram!

This is Gavin, one of my two nieces and me!

I found this awesome canvas print for my bathroom at TJMaxx. My bathroom is decorated in burgundy, black, and white. I love what this print says, and it reminds me of my husband! ♥

Here's a crazy bee I saw while I was jogging outside! Yeah, I stopped to take the picture! lol

Gavin loves Elmo!

My parents built this fire in the backyard and we roasted hot dogs for dinner! It was actually chilly outside and it really felt like Fall!

My Jack, the Pumpkin Head I bought at Bath and Body Works last year. I have put pumpkin decorations in my kitchen, and I love how I can put a candle in this and make it glow!

More pumpkin decorations in my kitchen!

This was my view when I was eating lunch on my lunch break. I love sitting with the windows down when there's a breeze outside!

Here is the guacamole my mom and I made one Saturday for lunch! It was so fun shopping for the vegetables and making it together that day!

Pumpkin towels in my kitchen!

Thanks for reading and have a great weekend! ☺

Color Club Wild at Heart

I've got a a beautiful holographic polish for you today! This is the second time I've worn Color Club Wild at Heart, which is a dark purple holographic polish that comes alive in the light!
I used two coats plus top coat for the pictures below. I had a lot of tip wear in these photos, so I'm not sure if it's because of how much I worked with my hands that day, or because of the polish. Either way, the polish is still definitely worth wearing.

What do you think of Wild at Heart? You can still find this polish at Head2ToeBeauty.com. Thanks for reading! ♥

Finger Paints Twisted

Today I've got a polish that I've had pictures of for a while, but I'm just now getting around to posting them! Finger Paints Twisted came out in a collection earlier this year named Finger Paints Special Effects Flake Glitter Topcoat Collection, which consisted of multi-colored flake glitter topcoat polishes.
Twisted, in my opinion, was the best polish from this collection because it has every color of flake glitter, and it shows up beautifully against a dark polish. Shown below is one coat of Twisted painted over Milani Midnight Satin.

What do you think of Finger Paints Twisted? Do you love flake polishes as much as I do? Thanks for reading! ☺

Spoiled The Parking Meteor Expired

Spoiled The Parking Meteor Expired was one of the polishes I bought earlier this year when the Spoiled brand first started to show up at my local CVS. Spoiled had a whole rack of really cool colors, and the price was only $1.99!
The Parking Meteor Expired is a beautiful blackened base polish with subtle teal shimmer that appears to be duo-chromed in the bottle. If you look closely in the photos below, you can see flashes of fuchsia shimmer on the sides of the bottle. Sadly, the duo-chrome didn't really show up on the nail.
Shown below are two coats of The Parking Meteor Expired. It was somewhat difficult to paint my nails with the brush for this polish, because it was so uneven, and the bristles were sticking out everywhere. I actually had to trim my brush a little bit for easier application. I have read where a lot of people have had problems with the brushes to these polishes, and I believe Spoiled was going to make better brushes for their new polish, but I haven't bought any since they were first released.

Sorry about the pen marks on my fingers! lol These pictures were taken right after work. ☺
The fuchsia shimmer really shows up on the bottle in the photo above. ☺

What do you think of this polish? Have you tried any Spoiled polish? Thanks for reading! ♥

Our Vacation Through Instagram

My husband and I finally got a week off together! This has been our first vacation together since our honeymoon almost a year ago! We decided to visit the Smoky Mountains in Tennessee, and here are some pictures from our trip. ☺

The bad decisions started early...lol This was our "snack" on the way up to Pigeon Forge.

This is our view driving into town. Notice the Titanic museum up ahead and the mountains in the back.

Here's another view of the mountains and the beautiful clouds.

This is my Kosmic Karma + Roasted Red Peppers Pizza from Mellow Mushroom. ☺

The result of our visit to The Smoky Mountain Popcorn Company ~ Half Chocolate Caramel & Half Cheddar and Sour Cream

...and our second trip to the Popcorn Company. Left to Right: Snickers, Taco, and Buffalo

This is a view of Little Pigeon River that runs through Gatlinburg. We happened to come upon this bridge while we were walking through downtown Gatlinburg.

The Old Mill General Store attached to The Old Mill Restaurant. This restaurant is definitely not the cheapest in town, but you definitely leave full and with plenty of leftovers!!

Parking at The Old Mill

The view in front of The Old Mill Restaurant ~ Fun shops with mountains as a backdrop ♥

Joe's Crab Shack in the mountains? You got it.

Another picture of Joe's. We had beer-battered fish, crab cakes, and my husband ate crab-stuffed shrimp.

The super-cute pirate ship playground for the kiddies at Joe's

The back of the new Hollywood Wax Museum in Pigeon Forge ~ The King Kong is huge!

The yummy fried green tomatoes with feta cheese and spicy ranch from The Partridge and Pear Restaurant!

The Starbucks my husband has nicknamed "Ye Old Starbucks" because of it's appearance. ☺ We go to the Ye Old Starbucks every time just so we can say its nickname. Haha!

I hope you have enjoyed these pictures! I have many more to add to this post, so check back! ☺

T-Shirt of the Day: X-Men

I've got another T-Shirt of the Day post for you today! ☺

Shown below is my X-Men shirt my husband bought for me at this really cool store in Pigeon Forge, TN called Red Rocket. Every time we go to Pigeon Forge, one of the first places we go is Red Rocket because they carry a lot of nostalgic merchandise, along with a lot of comic book t-shirts and magnets.

This is another one of my favorite t-shirts because it is so comfortable, and it reminds me of when my husband and I watch X-Men: The Animated Series. That show is really great, and I love the time I get to spend with my husband when we watch it.

Do you have any X-Men shirts? Thanks for reading! ☺

Zoya Ray

How many of you took advantage of the BOGO sale Zoya had a couple of weeks ago? I did! I love when they have those sales because that is when I really stock up on Zoya! I just can't justify spending $8 on  each bottle when I know I can get an Ulta coupon online, or I can just wait for the sales.
Zoya Ray was one of the colors I chose when I participated in the Zoya sale. Ray is one of the colors in the Zoya Diva Fall 2012 Collection. Ray is a dark green frost, and the reason I bought it is because I have a fascination with dark green polish!
Normally I steer clear of any polish with frost in it, but in this case, the polish itself was so dark, the silver frost in the polish didn't bother me. Indoors it looks almost black, but not quite. Ray truly did look like dark green pearls.
Pictured below are two coats of Ray plus top coat.

What do you think about Zoya Ray? Thanks for reading! ☺

T-Shirt of the Day: Pirates of the Caribbean

I've got something a little different than nail polish swatches for you today!

I was organizing my closet the other day, I realized that I have amassed a ton of cool t-shirts since my husband and I have been together. We have always bought each other t-shirts as gifts for movies, TV shows we watch, books we like, sports teams, and any other shirt that had something we liked on it or found amusing. So I have decided that in order to keep a sort of "record" of all the t-shirts I have, I've created this category on my blog to show you guys my "T-shirt of the Day." I won't post a T-shirt of the Day everyday, but as often as I wear my shirts.

So, here is the first t-shirt!

This is my Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides t-shirt that my hubby got me last year at Hot Topic. This is one of my favorite shirts to wear because it is so comfortable, and the Pirates movies are some of my favorite movies! I went to see On Stranger Tides a couple of times, and I know I wore this shirt to the theater at least once. The picture below is me last year on the way to see Pirates for the second time.

What do you think? Do you have something you collect? Do you have a lot of t-shirts in your wardrobe?

Sinful Colors Zeus

I've got a beautiful Sinful Colors polish for you today! I believe Sinful Colors Zeus is a newer shade in the Sinful Colors line because I haven't really seen it before, so when I found it at Walgreens I got it because it was very pretty in the bottle.
Zeus is a lavender shade of purple with subtle pink shimmer. The pink shimmer makes Zeus unique, and it definitely stands out against other purples in my collection. I loved wearing Zeus because of that hint of pink that would peak out in the sun!
Shown below are two coats of Zeus.

I think shades like Zeus can really be worn year-round. What do you think of Zeus? Thanks for reading! ☺
